Happy 26 Weeks Little Koa!!

So TODAY... marks 26 WHOLE ENTIRE weeks! It is the most amazing feeling in the world to know that my little son is growing so quickly inside of me. I can't even believe that I am capable of growing a human being! A little me and a little AC, growing inside of my uterus. CRAZY. I am the luckiest girl in the world. I have the best family I could ask for, the love of my life by my side... (I can't even imagine my life without him) as well as his family! And the most amazing and supportive group of family and friends ever. Gosh, Life is good. :)

Last night I went on a cleaning rampage... kind of more like an "organizing as best as I can for how tired I was rampage." The comcast guy FINALLY came yesterday to hook up our internet modem in the dining room, so I was finally able to move the computer, desk and chair out of the soon to be... in 14 more weeks...nursery. I moved the china cabinet that we got from AC's sister and brother-in-law to the other side of the dining room... and the computer desk in its place! We put our dining table in storage because it was just too big for the both of us and we NEVER eat in there. EVER. So that is the system so far. Once I finish cleaning and figuring out just how I want all the pieces to fit together I will post a picture for all to see. Yay!

While I moved furniture all around the condo, I also kept up and completed FOUR LOADS OF LAUNDRY. Ohhhhh Yah!. I never complete this much laundry in one night. I usually fold the clothes in the dryer and then put a new load in the washer.. . only to forget that I have done that and wake up in the morning with the washer and clothes smelling like mildew (I can't even tell you how many towels I have ruined.. AC gets very frustrated with my laundry washing habits) hahah but whatever at least its getting done.

I also began to reorganize AC's closet. I put a new hanging canvas shoe rack in his closet to get his huge... size 14... shoes off the floor! I had to buy the canvas that is meant for sweaters and such because there was no way his shoes were going to fit in the actual canvas that was made for shoes.. unless I wanted to put ONE shoe in each pocket. But I prefer the shoes to be organized as a pair... not a single. haha I also vaccumed out the whole closet because the Comcast guy had to drill a hole through the closet and got white powdery stuff everywhere. ugh.

Then I cleaned out the baby room! ALMOST DONE! I bagged up all the baby clothes that we decided to keep to be washed.. and I organized the toys and such that we were given from friends, and I also started my post it system. There are a few things in the baby room that need to be moved, cleaned out, sorted, etc... so I took hot pink post its and labeled each thing accordingly. Example, the old Cal-King Mattress that we don't use because we got a new one is in the room against the wall... I "posted-it" as "TRASH." There are a pair of lamps that we aren't sure what to do with yet so I "posted-it" "STORAGE." The little mini dresser we are going to use in the nursery needs to be painted so I "posted-it" "PAINT" hahah you get the point. I was laughing after finishing because I look around and there are pretty much hot pink Post Its everywhere! Hahahah Whatever works!

Here is a picture of the baby room after I cleaned it up and tried to organize it. See the pink post it on the mini dresser? Hahah Our crib is scheduled to arrive TODAY! So that will be put together this weekend hopefully. We also still need to pick up the old dresser from AC's parents house that we are re-painting and using as a dresser and changing table. Then I can have a place to put the baby clothes!! We are also painting the walls a pale blue. I am very excited!!!

And the last thing I did was clean myself! I showered at 12:00am last night and it was so nice. I love taking showers. Then FINALLY went to bed at almost 1:00am. I was texting my friends Christina for about thirty minutes. Her husband works super late and doesn't get home until after 12 so I knew she would be awake!

Its pretty overwhelming to think of all the things that still need to be done before Little Koa arrives! But we are making progress so thats good.

My last day of work will be June 30th! Then I will have a lot of time to get things in order before Koa comes! One whole month. I am trying to finish as much as possible now though because I know I will only get more uncomfortable the bigger I get and the closer to my due date. What if Koa comes early!?!? Ahhhhhh I just thought of that! We need to get on the ball.

I slept with my SNOOGLE that Dana, AC's sister, gave me last night! It was AMAZING. I was so comfortable. It took me a few twists, turns, and pulls on the snoogle to wrap it all around me! haha But it was awesome... I highly recommend one to every pregnant woman. Here is a picture for you of the snoogle.

What I miss? Well I was missing shrimp fajitas, but after my dietitian appointment I was told Shrimp is fine in moderation :) So now I miss being able to RUN on a treadmill. Its difficult going to the gym and WALKING on a treadmill.. I've feel like a pansy. A pregnant pansy.
What I am looking forward to? Ordering Koa's Crib bedding and putting together the crib!!
Weekly wisdom: Don't feel bad about yourself for having rashes on your eyelids, pale super white skin and 20 extra pounds on your body. Its ALLLL for the baby.
Milestones: Well, I will say for me being halfway done with the Baby Registries. Im just so undecisive. Too much to choose from... I just keep scanning everything! hahah

The Long Awaited Post...

Hello to the world.. well to my friends and family that have access to this blog anyways...
It's been awhile hasn't it? Well I have so much to tell everyone..

Ummm the last three weeks have been amazing! The heartburn just keeps on burning and the weight just keeps on coming... couldn't be better! Okay I will do a break down for you...

April 9th was my last doctors appointment where AC and I got to see all of the ultrasound pictures from our BIG ultrasound! It was awesome! We were able to see all of Koa's little body parts up close for a second time. I was really happy AC was able to come to this appointment because he didn't get to see the actual ultrasound.. so it was nice that he was able to see all of the photos! At this awesome appointment I was finally referred to the dermatologist for the rash that I have had on my eyelids since I've been pregnant. Why is it there? I do not know. Nothing has helped it. Its dry, flaky, red, and very itchy. I went to my primary doctor and she couldn't tell me why it was there or how to fix it. I've thrown out old make-up and bought all new eye make up as well as applied cortizone cream and lotion on it consistently. Nope. Nothing has worked. So that was good. I was also referred to a dietitian because I have gained 20 pounds since October. That's right. A big whole whopping 20 pounds... Again, I am so glad that AC was able to come with me because as soon as we walked out of Kaiser I was sobbing. Yep, SOBBING. And he was so nice and supportive and we are just so happy the baby is health! :) That is all that matters!

So last week I saw the Dietitian which went really well because we looked at my weight over the last year and I have actually only gained 15 pounds. She wasn't quite sure why my doctor was so concerned. But it was still a great appointment! She gave me tons of information about what I can and can't eat and I learned that I can have fish! Ahhhh so exciting!

I go to the dermatologist tomorrow.. I will keep you posted..

We FINALLY decided AND ordered our crib last night!! YAY! It is the Stork Craft Aspen Stages Fixed Side Baby Crib- Black. :)

Isn't it perfect?! I love it! AC and I were going back and forth between this one and the DaVinci Jayden Crib in Black and finally decided on this one. Its perfect. We still need to paint the changing table, side table, and finish the whole room actually. We decided on white crib bedding and this amazing wall decal from etsy!

It is a growth chart! Isn't it adorable!!! And its only $30 which is the best part... Those wall decals can get really expensive. We also decided on painting the nursery a pale powder blue and AC really really wants a zebra print rug. I also want this mobile I think.. I'm still trying to decide..
I think we are going for a safari theme, without it being too much of a "theme." Koa's nursery will be simple and clean...Classy. Hahah I am getting out of control with the Nursery Decor Ideas. :)

Okay so here are my belly pics at 25 weeks and 4 days! You'll have to ignore my hair, and face... I just got home from the gym! That's right.. when your doctor sends you to a dietician, you send yourself to the gym.

OH... and this is the current nursery/storage room/office/catch all room right now! Those are the baby clothes on the floor that I have been sorting and need to wash before I can put them all away!
And another one, I opened the curtains so my belly is all lit up! haha

And this is just because Tank wanted to be in a picture oh so badly! He wouldn't leave the room!
He was just staring at himself in the mirror for a full minute! Awwwww Tanky Boy.

So that's the last three weeks. AC and I are more and more excited every single day for our little William Kekoa Branco! We can't wait to meet him!!!
