After an amazing ultrasound yesterday we are finally proud to say that we are having a beautiful baby BOY! He is the most active little baby ever. I just know this is going to be a hyper little child. I had my ultrasound in Kaisar Vallejo, I had never been to this Kaisar before so I was a little confused and went to the wrong place in the hospital... TWICE!
AC had to switch his work schedule around a lot for the appointment yesterday so he could make it to the utlrasound. He had to drive to San Mateo at six in the morning, drive back to vallejo for the ultrasound, and then drive to Hayward and be there and ready for another case at 11am!! Unfortunately, he was stuck in traffic on the way to the ultrasound and after all the rearranging in his schedule, he wasn't able to make it in time. :( I was sooooooooo sad. But I was still very excited and kept the gender a surprise until he got there. When he saw the picture proving that we are having a son, his eyes lit up and got SO BIG! :) I was so excited and couldn't stop smiling!!!! It was the most amazing morning ever.
Our little boy was being very cooperative... at first. The tech was able to get most of the pictures he needed and the gender! But our little baby kept bouncing around all over the place and wouldn't stop! haha He doesn't like his picture taken.. which is very much AC and NOT me. ..(I love cameras :) hahah The tech had another appointment waiting so he finished up with me and had me wait about half an hour and then brought me back in to get pictures of the heartbeat from the front, his profile, and a face picture. (he has the cutest little button nose and lips!) So I was able to go in twice! Such a blessing. The tech and I were both hoping that AC would be able to come back in as well, but unfortunately he didn't call me back into the ultrasound room until about 10:15 and AC had to leave by then to go to Hayward. So he waited with me for a while and then he had to leave. Saaaad again. haha but its okay! We have a beautiful healthy growing baby boy right now and that is all that matters to us.
So here are some pictures from the ultrasound! This is little William all curled up, facing down. you can see his head, neck and spine.. and you can even see his little face curled in.. his nose.. his lips.. his chin. :)

And this just speaks for itself! Haha The Tech said "There is no mistaking that this is a boy!" Hahahah My little baby Boooooyyyy!!!!! :)
I will keep you updated on the room! We are going to take a before and after picture and I will of course be posting them! Right now the room looks like a total train wreck.. but we are getting the furniture this weekend so it will all start coming along soon. :)
Oh and his name is very meaningful. :) "William" is AC's first name, as well as his dad's, and "Kekoa" is Hawaiian and it means "the warrior, the brave one, the protector" :) And Branco is of course his last name. haha I love my little Koa. :)
