Spook the laughter right outta ya!

After an awesome shopping trip yesterday... Had to hit up HomeGoods
with my aunt... My cousins were playing with Bubba on the way home in
car.

Saturday, October 29

I bet you didn't know I have a real deal singer in my family.

My cousin Hannah is quite the amazing little singer. She is only a Freshman in high school and has had ZERO singing lessons. None. Nada. She has a natural talent. Which she obviously gets from me. Hahahah jk. She is amazing! She is the fourth one from the right singing the solo. Thats right. Yah heard me... solo. :)

Everyone loves Ellen.

Ellen DeGeneres is probably the funniest most amazing person I've ever seen on TV. I must say she blows Oprah outta the water. By FAR.

I especially love how she always brings the super cool YouTube stars on her show.

And this one seriously blew me away. I LOVE it. Omgosh I have no idea how this little Sophia can even sing this song.

Costco chillin.

We made a costco run tonight and decided to buy our dog Tank a new bed.
Bubba thought it was necessary he test it out for him first.

Koa's Big Boy Bedroom Inspiration

  1. DIY scoreboard in the making.
  2. Chalkboard picture frames.
  3. LOVE this 1st, 2nd, 3rd chest for Koa's goodies.
  4. Deep red dresser, DIY project coming up.
  5. Baseball lamp shade.
  6. Old School personalized pennants. Um, these look extremely easy to do yourself, but Pottery Barn is selling these bad boys for $59 each. RIDICULOUS. Be ready for a tutorial post.
Bedroom reveal to come soon!

Deep breath in..

And SIGH.

Whenever I want you all I have to do is listen to the Everly Brothers and just SIGH. and raise my eyebrows with such a soft look in my eyes with a soft sway of my head side to side... And I am doing it right now. Geeeeeeeeeee wiz I tell ya.

That is the theme song of my life right now. Because I am dreaming of the Canon Rebel T2i.

This beauty.

But I am also dreaming of this beauty as well. The Nikon D5100.

I want blurry background pictures. Thats all. Thats all I need. Blurry backgrounds.
And gee wiz is going to be a new part of my vocabulary. Its quite the fun thing to say.

I can't decide which one to go with here people! I am stuck.
I hope The Everly Brothers makes you sigh the same soft sigh of mine.

Photo of the Day

Well this is really a photo from last night but I just had to share
because bubba is just so darn cute.

Stanley Lane Pumpkin Patch

Few more pictures from the Pumpkin Patch.
He was very much enjoying the DumDum lollipop while riding in the wagon.

Belly Picture (and Bubba)

How far along? 14 weeks 2 days
Total weight gain/loss: Ugh. Is this really necessary? 11 lbs. yep. Bring on the rain.
Sleep: All night long. We are very very lucky that our Bubba sleeps through the entire night. We are talking 9:00pm - 10:00am without a peep.

Best moment this week: Well, we had our NT ultrasound at the beginning of last week and the tech gave me some very exciting opinions on the gender, which I will wait to share until our gender reveal party. And this week, we were able to hear the heartbeat again. I think it sounds preeeeeeettttyyyyyy fast. :)
Movement: None as of yet. With Bubba I didn't feel a thing until I was about 18/19 weeks.
Symptoms: OMG. Headaches are new this time around, low back pain.. and morning/day/night sickness was a big winner.
Symptoms I DON'T have: The morning/day sickness has subsided.. just waiting to start feeling chipper at night.
Food cravings: Iced tea, and for a while there corn dogs, which is absolutely radiculitis. (that ones for you Jess)
Food aversions: COFFEE.. I LOVE coffee and anyone who really knows me, knows that Starbucks gets the better half of my wallet... the half with all the money in it. Not anymore. Seeeeeeee ya. I have finally been able to drink just brewed coffee in the early AM, but my days of white chocolate mocha and vanilla delicious lattes are long gone.
Gender: Unknown, but keep your fingers crossed for a little Kennedy Lou!
Labor Signs: Nada.
Belly Button in or out? In
What I miss: My 500 calorie coffee drinks, but at least I'm saving those calories for something else, I mean I have gained 11 lbs already.
What I am looking forward to: The gender ultrasound! Its taking so long. I have no patience. None.
Weekly Wisdom: Don't laugh when your child hits you with his plastic golf club. It only makes him do it again. It has nothing to do with my pregnancy, but this one I learned last night so I have to share.
Milestones: The huge belly bump that seems to be popping out so much more quickly this time. I already look as if I'm 4/5 months! Thank you corn dogs.

Sunday, October 23

Oh how I love fall.

We took bubba to the Stanley Lane Pumpkin patch this morning to get
some pumpkins! He had so much fun looking at the pigs and sitting on
the tractors. He picked out two little pumpkin all by himself and put
them in the wheel barrel and also ended the trip with a lemon dumdum
lollipop :)

Tuesday, October 18

Well hello everyone :)

here is our little Lou!

Saturday, June 11

Napping with MiMi.

My mom babysat for me today so I could go to the gym with my friend
Natalie and when we got home this is how I found them!

Thursday, June 9

Park time!

Playing at the park with Kekoa and Auntie Macy Jo. It's a beautiful 78
degrees today!

Wednesday, June 8

I wear a white tee, you wear a white tee.

The next day catch me with a brand new white tee.

My sister has always told me that I only wear white. "You have twenty of the same white flowy, lacey tops"... "Another white hippie top Malayla" "Don't you have like five of that same shirt?" But it wasn't until I bleached a load of white clothes yesterday and finished hanging them up in my closet, when I finally realized that I really only wear white.

Another morning with Kekoa

Tuesday, June 7

Just another manic Monday.

Yep. It sure is.

Exactly my point.

Exactly why I am not a Stay At Home Chef.

Monday, June 6

What the!?

Whhhyyyyy is my mobile blogging not working all of a sudden!? And whhhhyyy can't blooger process my video upload? ARG!

Sunday, June 5

He's upright, on his own.

Koa has just recently been standing up all by himself!! He always pulls himself up on all furniture that he can get his hands on and the other day while Ace was reading to him, he just kept letting go of
him. Just standing up. Yep... My boy is growing up! I don't even think
he realizes he is doing it... Haha!

Just being mobile.

Oh help me.

O.M.G.

Do you see his wrist? He is blowin up! I promise this shirt actually fits him, it may look like the sleeve is cutting off the circulation in his wrists.. but really his wrists are just big huge rollie pollie things.

Mama and baby!

Just another morning with Kekoa!

Will someone please tell me how to be a SAHM??

You know.. a Stay At Home Mom. SAHM. But I am also a Work at Home Mom? A Stay at home Housekeeper? A Stay at home Dog Groomer? A Stay At Home Chef? Well.. I can take back the Chef part because that's something I DO NOT do. Apparently, everything I cook is not healthy enough. I use too much butter....? Eh. Whatev. Anyhow.. Will someone please teach me how to be these things? Because I never in a million years thought that being a stay at home anything would be something that I'd be totally lost in.

My entire life, and I'm talking my ENTIRE life here people, I have been a CLEAN FREAK. Ask anyone of my friends. Ask my mom, who used to love my assistance when it came time to fold the laundry (my favorite were towels), who never once had to ask me to clean my room or to organize the books on my bookshelf from tallest to shortest.. which I did, when I was like 8. Ask my bestest friend J Mo this question and she will be the first to tell you about our "play dates" in grammar school.. which were really cleaning dates because all I wanted to do was clean her room.. seriously.. a disaster that room was... sorry Mo.. you and I both know it was. Ask my friend Torrey, who used to skip Mr. Barko's 3rd period Spanish class with me just to drive to the car vacuum place just so I could vacuum the floors in my Honda Civic. Okay now you get the point, but what has happened to that girl!? Where did the clean freak go?? Because she is gone people. She's outta here. Seeeeeee ya.

My house is ridiculous. No one ever tells you about this part of being a SAHM. My house has been completely taken over by not only baby stuff, baby toys, baby everything, but wedding stuff as well along with my need to HOARD everything I can. Our little 1100 square foot condo is now a storage unit with some sofas and a bed. Its awful. I am constantly stepping over, around, pushing aside, falling on top of, stubbing my little baby toe on (which I did today...) things that I don't even know what to do with anymore. Our poor dog is in a small little area of the house/storage facility and he gets no roaming room. Its suuuucccchhhh a bad set up. But what to do? Where to put it? I mean, I've got a problem. I'll admit it. I like Target. I like Goodwill. I like any building that has anything to do with consignments. I LOVE me some Marshalls and Home Goods... and I will lay it all out there.. I AM A HOARDER. So I know my love of these stores and my problem with compulsive shopping/hoarding has led me to where I am today.. an over crowded-over furnished-over used-over stuffed condo. But what to do??

Everywhere I turn there is chaos. Total chaos. The clothes in my dresser drawers aren't even folded. what the..??!! My car has officially become "one of those mom cars" you know the kind... where it looks like a tornado just ripped through it. My son's nursery has become the catch all for just about everything. I just can't seem to pull it together. I am so far from being the clean freak that I once was that I don't know if our house will ever be clean again. The clothes in my dressers never folded again.. the socks will never find their matches again.

I have tried a cleaning schedule. That didn't work.
I have tried staying up late to clean. That didn't work.
I have tried just staying away from home finding every excuse not to be there so I don't have to look at the mess, but eventually I have to come back. So that didn't work.

I need some help here people. I need to get my clean on. Being a SAHM/WAHM is so difficult!

Why do we even have wisdom teeth?

Why do we have to even have wisdom teeth? We grow them just to have them surgically removed. Why do we even have to have them surgically removed and pay tons of money? And why do we have to do this] The whole thing is just stupid to me. But anyways.... I am feeling better. I had to switch my Vicodin to Tylenol with Codeine though, the Vicodin was just WAY too strong for me.

So I have been trying my best to relax with the help of AC, my mom and my sister Missy. But it is so hard when your once oh so quiet-and-little-did-nothing-but-sleep-all-day-itty-bitty-baby grows into a Monster. Thats right, a monster. What happened to my child and where can I find him??

Some 9 month pictures!

The Monster.

Teach me how to Bloggie.. Teach me, Teach me how to Bloggie.

Everbody love me.. eh everbody love me..
:) So I am baaaaccckkkk. I've taking a long few months of not even having the slightest interest to blog again.. I'm finally back. Yes I decided to come back to this little blog of mine at 1:51am with an aching mouth and nothing but Vicodin and my snoring hubby to cheer me on, but hey... im back!

I had all four wisdom teeth removed yesterday. By yesterday I mean May 16th at 8:45am and I cannot sleep at all. I went to bed at 10 and woke up at 1 to a baby crying so I've been rocking and snuggling my little Koa and now he is finally back to sleep. And now I blog.

Koa has been growing so darn fast.

  • He is 30" and about 26 lbs.

  • He is constantly pulling himself up to a standing position where he likes to hold on to whatever he can with one hand and swing the other arm like he is King Kong, he is crawling everywhere. He has turned into quite to fast little crawler. Jaaaaaammin all around the house. He just recently started WALKING with his lawnmower style walker and is looooooving it.

  • He will hand you a toy back and forth, "give mama the toy" and so on..

  • He listens, for the most part, when I tell him No. Wahoo hoo! We'll see how long this lasts. haah

  • He is currently saying "bababa" and "papa" sounds. He has said mama only a handful of times where I can actually swear that it was indeed the word mama.

  • Waves Hi and Bye.

  • Will move his lips like a fishie when you say "What does the fishie do?" haha My mom taught him this one..

  • He will squint his little eyes and crinkle his nose when you say "Show me your pretty eyes" This is a Papa Bill and Koa thing that he thinks is hilarious!

  • Dance to all music!

  • Feed himself like a champ.

  • Struggle to find the perfect toy from his toy bin only to lift it up and over the side of the pack and play and drop it on the floor.

  • He is eating about 18-24 oz of formula a day and about 3-4 solid food feedings each day. OINKER.
